On Wednesday morning I made an order of some various bits and pieces I needed including a Nikon MD12 Motor Drive. I used the cheapest shipping option and the order arrived only 3 days later on Friday which is simply amazingly fast! Sadly the MD12 wasn't working upon arrival and after a quick phone call to Adorama explaining i was calling from Australia and that the call would quickly cost more then my problem I was fast tracked through to Customer Service who are helping me work on a solution and should have it sorted by the end of their break on the 27th. I would also like to thank Julio Figueroa who in Jeff Snyder's absence for The Flash Bus tour helped me with another order which he had sent to my parents Manhattan Hotel Room within 24 hours of my order being placed. Effectively bypassing the standard rules of no shipping to hotels and no shipping to an address different to the billing address for overseas orders. These two reasons are why i prefer to buy from Adorama as a Sportsshooter sponsor then to use local retailers here in Australia, even with shipping, phone calls to New York and the $25 Sportsshooter membership it is still cheaper for me to order from Adorama.
