Magic Arm, the lever or the knob?
Steve Russell, Photographer
Toronto | ON | Canada | Posted: 9:01 PM on 04.12.11
->> I'm looking for a new manfrotto magic arm.
So the question is, what do you prefer, the lever or the knob?

I'm looking at the Manfrotto 143A, the one with the lever that locks the arm (one I've had before)
But, I've always had my eye on the Manfrotto 244. It has what they call the Variable Friction knob that locks.
Anyone have a strong preference of one over the other?

I went with the friction model and am very pleased.
