->> I just got an email from some marketing director from Artflakes.com, about a working partnership with them. They look like a company from Germany, selling prints for commission. I was wondering if anyone here has gotten this email from them, and was wondering if it was some kind of scam.
Judging from the email, it does not sound like your typical broken-english scam artist, but the sign up process to be a partner is a little too "non-selective" for my comfort.

They claim that you get to keep your own copyright, and it appears to be another "vehicle" with which to sell your prints, and they make commission off of it.
Has anyone on here ever heard of them? If so, what are your impressions? |

->> I just got one today as a message through PhotoShelter. I haven't had time to reply yet but was wondering about it.
So, has anyone given this a go? It looks like one more avenue to make money off some fine art prints. |

| ->> Hi,I`m a photographer from Germany,Berlin and got the same e-mail through my photoshelter account.I never had heard about them and found out that they are another start-up company :http://www.deutsche-startups.de/2010/12/02/international-statt-national-kun.../ who wants to sell art.(You could use the google -translation)I decided not to join because they sell cheap and there are lots of companies here in Germany who get insolvent....,don`t know photographers who have worked with them. They contacted many other Photoshelter-users with the same e-mail,seems to be a campaign. |
