->> I just wanted to say a big thank you to Robert and the rest of the SportsShooter.com team that worked on the annual portfolio contest this year, including Michael Goulding and Paul Rodriguez from the Orange County Register; Mark Boster of the Los Angeles Times; and Matt Brown. Also a big thanks to Myung Chun for putting together the videos on the SportsShooter Academy site. I know it is not easy to get everyone together to give up their time to judge a contest like this, but it really is appreciated.
Thinking about some of the judges comments, I went back this weekend and reworked the photo story I included in the portfolio. While I think it is still not perfect - I think this helps tell the story a bit better. I have posted it on my blog:

Ideas and feedback are always welcome. |

| ->> I really liked it! The captions for the last two were a little confusing, but it might just be how late it is. The only thing I can think of is that I'd like to see her driving - there are the close helmet and seat belt shots, but not anything showing her behind the wheel. Well done! |

| ->> I just wanted to say thanks to Fullerton College and Jay Seidel for letting using the Fullerton Wilshire Theater. That place was great. Corey Perrine and Patrick Fallon both had some very nice work. |

| ->> Slightly off topic but I honestly thought this was a thread in praise of a law firm. |

->> Thomas, do you have a structured settlement that you need cash NOW?
The videos were interesting with good insights on editing |

->> The Wilshire Theater on the campus of Fullerton College is a wonderful place. A real classic.
Dare I say it?
Maybe the site of a trial resurrection of the Sports Shooter Workshop & Luau? |
