D3s wouldn't mount

->> Question for y'all. I keep a USB cord in my bag for the inevitable time that I forget my card reader at home. That happened yesterday and while my D3 mounted and allowed me to ingest my photos fine, the D3s wouldn't show up as a drive on the computer.
I'm using an MBP and just upgraded to the latest OS; when I looked in the System Profiler I could see the camera connected to the Mac but not anywhere else. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
-Ron- |

| ->> Get updated drivers from Nikon. Have had this happen before on my pc and just had to install drivers for new camera. Exactly as you described. |

| ->> With newer cameras, you have to use the "image capture" app. It's part of the OS. You can find it in the applications folder. From there you can use the app's GUI, or simple drag'n'drop the files to a folder on your desktop, etc. |
