->> Sounds great if it works as advertised ... CF cards need more power to be read, copied from and written to than SD cards ... If the developer has overcome that issue and it performs well ... I'd gladly add it to my kit ...

->> I don't know about this product, but the ZoomIt SD card reader (http://www.zoommediaplus.com/) for the iPhone/iPad gets around the power issue by having a tiny built in battery, the iPhone requires a powered reader because it puts out less power than the iPad. You charge the reader with a USB micro charger. If micgadget is using a similar system it would probably work.

->> Nice to finally see one built for CF cards. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to like 5d Mark II video files. I wonder if it would support Nikon's movie files, I believe that they come as .MOV files.

The video also shows that transfers are relatively fast.

->> Doggone!

Now I may have to buy and iPad!!!

Up until I viewed that video I thought the iPad was something I did not need because I couldn't see how I would practically use it for work (other than using a CF to SD adapter but even then I was not sure it would work in the camera).

Now with a legit option for ingesting images from a CD card?

Wow.

Saving up my pennies...

Thanks for the links guys.

->> I just bought the Apple Connection Kit for iPad and used it with Photogene to transmit via FTP back to my newspaper. A CF card reader would be a great addition to the iPad 2 workflow. I wrote about using Photogene with iPad 2 in Mastering Multimedia.
