->> I switched over to Dynalite a few years ago and love em' ... but recently came across a used Broncolor Mobil kit with 2 mobilite heads and so far I'm really impressed with it. I haven't seen or heard much about them. Anyone else using a Mobil kit?

->> i don't use them, but i used to sell Broncolor when i worked at Samy's Camera many years ago. Broncolor (made in Switzerland) is the Rolls Royce of strobes...at least the price tag is.

the brand as a whole is arguably the most consistent (color temperature and light output) and efficient (output per joule) strobe available. supposedly better than profoto, but i have never actually compared the two.

have fun with them.

->> I used Broncolors when I was with Polaroid a LONG time ago as a Tech Rep. Didn't use the mobile units (doubt they existed back then), but as Darrell states, arguably the most consistent and efficient lights out there. VERY pretty light. Not surprised you're enjoying the product. We used it for 8 x10 instant product demos and it was awesome.

->> Thanks guys, I'm not a fan of the small Mobilite heads but the pack takes any broncolor head. They seem comparable to Profoto 7b, and the new A2R packs are less expensive, I'm surprised they are not more popular.

->> A recent article in PDN focused on some photographers doing fast action photography, and I think two of the three were using Broncolor Mobils!
