| ->> I have one of these from the Eddie Adams Workshop this year, its pretty nice, but it does not fit all credentials. I like it though and use it to hold most of those annoying small passes on string that always seem to get lost. |

->> Yeah, my comment goes to what Patrick said. It appears the "window" is only tall enough to fit a driver's license size credential (like an MLB season cred), which is 3 3/8" tall. Most of my daily creds (NBA, NHL) this year have been between 4 3/4" and 6 3/8" inches tall which means they'd stick out past the top of the clear window.
Usually, I absolutely love TT's products (and own a ton of their stuff) and marvel at how well they "just work", but in this case, this item would seem to not be designed for some of us.
The Lightwave credential holder I've had for years is large enough to fit any credential I've ever received (the window is 6 5/8 in height), and it still has places for notepads, pens, flash cards, etc.. |

->> I have one a like it quite fine. While it may not be big enough for NHL/NBA passes, it has accommodated every press cred I have been given except for one in the past 4 months.
My feeling is that TT designed it to be used by shooters who cover the stuff that most dailies cover. Not every shooter covers the NHL or NBA on a regular basis, but lots cover smaller events/concerts/pressers where the cred holder would be hugely beneficial. I use it to hold my paper's ID card (if I'm on assignment for the paper...), business cards, notepad and a pen. I like that it isn't too big, otherwiseI wouldn't use it for daily work as it would be too cumbersome. |

| ->> Just got one in today (ordered it Friday !). I have to agree that the window area is smallish. The Red Sox game day (as opposed to season) credential won't fit without folding it and neither did the paper pass that the Pats use for press conferences etc. Actually most of the paper day passes I have didn't fit. Anything bigger than 3.5x5 will need to be folded. |

| ->> Good idea, just way too small for 95% of the credentials issued around here. |

| ->> Well I did find a simple fix. Re-thread the lanyard through the front and out the back. It holds the flap up and allows tall credentials to sit in the pocket and to be fully displayed. All the folks at TT would have to do to make this even better is extend the clear plastic window to the level of the eyelets. That way you can run the lanyard though the front for tall credentials or through the back for the shorter view. |

| ->> The Round 2/3 NCAA hoops credential I just got today is 7" x 4.25" and wouldn't even fit in the TT holder sideways...but it fits in the Lightware product (barely, but it does fit). |

->> +1 on the lightware cred holder....comes in pretty handy.

I use this one and love it, it fits most all creds and has business card holder, pen holder and another pocket in the back. |

->> Sorry, the "Sports Shooter credential holder" people are referring to were a give-away from Versaflex for one of the Sports Shooter Workshop & Luau events.
You see them still being used from time-to-time, most notably around the neck of Shawn Cullen...until he broke it (boo)... |

->> For those interested in getting a Versa-Flex credential holder, they can occasionally be found at Studio Depot in Los Angeles (900 N. La Brea Avenue, Hollywood, CA 90038) and their phone number is (323) 851-0111
It is not listed on their website (to my knowledge), but they had three left the last time I was there, which was in November. The credential holders live in a bin of assorted stuff near the Pelican cases and Porta Brace stuff.
Unfortunately, they don't have a cool SportsShooter logo on them, but you can settle for the big V from Versa-Flex, or remove the V and replace it with something of your choosing. |
