->> This will be a great opportunity to not only observe and to learn from the judging but to also meet and mingle with other Sports Shooter members.
Heck, we may all reconvene at a local eating establishment after the judging is completed... |

->> Anyone with the opportunity to go to this event really should take advantage of the opportunity to hear these professionals discuss images great and not-so-great. What separates those two categories are sometimes miniscule details -- and to hear that insight is frankly, invaluable.
The live SS POY critiques were always one of my favorite part of the Sports Shooter Academy experience. |

So all of those that emailed me about attending this cool event: Make sure to wear a Hawaiian shirt! |

->> Do not be an hour late today.
You will miss a lot of, "Out. Out. Out. Out. Out. Out. Out."
And then the super rare, " I like this. In. " |

->> If you folks can make it down, do it. You will not be disappointed. You will learn so much by watching this contest being judged. Bring a friend or family member, even if they're not photographers. They will have a great time too. Trust me. The level of talent and experience between the photographers in the judging panel is just incredible. Hearing the color commentary and the bickering and reasoning would be worth the price of a ticket alone, but it's free!
And if Captain Ron shows like has been rumored, you know you're in for a great time.
Have fun today! Wish I could be there.
And a huge mahalo to sponsor Think Tank Photo for providing prizes for the winners!
