Rode Video Mic Pro

->> If you're looking for good sound with a D7000, the Rode Video Mic pro is an excellent mic. The only problem I'm having is it's a bit fragile. I'll have to find some tubing to protect the cord, which I can see being completely destroyed if I'm not careful (which I'm usually not).
But the sound itself is very clean. No hiss and it has several settings to adjust gain. |

| ->> I got the Senn MKE-400 and it too is fragile, but the sound quality is solid and a few people told me to get it over the Rode, buut I imagine both are solid. |
