| ->> I am building an event setup, so that I can do on site print ordering. Currently, I have printers, cameras, tents, tables, etc. but I 'm getting stuck when it comes to software. I need viewstation software that will be user friendly fo my customers. I have networking capabilities. I've looked at Digital Darkroom Express, but I am not sold on it. Are there any competing softwares, and if so, what are they? Just hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks |

->> been using 5 Minute photo for several years.
www.5minutephoto.com . You will want to use the Pro Version. There is a working demo you will be able to download and try out at no charge. I have 11 view stations running XP Pro with Windows 7 on my server. |

->> 5 minute and Parata are good, but if you are looking for a fully integrated system from sorting, to viewing, to POS, to fullfillment, to border workshops, to customer databasing, there is nothing better out there than Express Digital's Darkroom Pro/Core. Many that try it, get turned off by it, but they have no idea of the capabilities and flexibility it offers.
Believe me, it has bugs and it's costly, but if you are looking for a complete soup to nuts system, ED is the way to go. |
