Any ideas what the Canon CPS Platinum gift is.

->> It is almost time for my renewal of my Canon CPS membership. I have had the Gold and Platinum memberships in the past and was thinking about renewing at the Platinum level again and was just wondering if any one else has renewed yet and if you could tell me what Platinum gift you received.

->> 2 CPS Camera Straps, EOS Lens Book, Canon Photo Book, CPS Flash Drive, Leather Canon note book, Rear Lens cap, Canon Pen, Red lens cleaning cloth, and a bunch of Prepaid Courier shipping forms and shipping labels.
For me it has paid for itself in the free shipping on repairs,(coming and going) checkups, loaners, test drives, and none of the usual NPS huge bill for "impact damage" nonsense on every repair I ever sent in. They seem to have stream lined it pretty well with the pre-booking and equipment registry on the CPS site ..... This is the way Canon Canada is handling things but I can't see it being that much different states side.

->> Nice one TD. I gave you a funny on that one also. David, I think the US and Canda CPS plan is different in that I dont get free shipping both ways. I only get free return shipping. Other than that I would say it is close to the same. I know in the past the priemium gift was a thinktank camera bag.

->> I think it might vary depending on how many years you've had a platinum membership. For example (if I remember correctly) year one was a TT Glass Taxi, last year (year two) I got the TT ShapeShifter, and this year I got a TT Artificial Intelligence 15 V2 and Cable Management 30. When my renewal box came a few weeks ago it was marked with a 3 on it.
