After I sent in my camera for cleaning , CPS cleared my settings and my camera has not been focusing correctly. In fact the files are soft when I shoot horizontals but sharp when I shoot verticals. I really don't want to send the camera in again, I need a camera for work and CPS takes too long to send me a loner. If any of you have any great suggestions for Canon Mark III settings for sports, for indoor and outdoor I would sure appreciate it. I sure wish my Mark III focused as well as my Mark II N. I know the article is about a Mk IV, but the settings may be the same. I went from the MK II'n to the MK IV. I skipped the MK III, so I'm not sure, but it may help. Sorry if it doesn't. The fact that your results seem to be dependent on orientation strongly suggests a hardware not software issue to me.
