I've been using this for a while myself and put it online yesterday for some buddies to try out. Have a look if you're using code replacements for Photo Mechanic or Text Expander.

Rosters are kept current and are customizable. Please use the provided feedback forum on rosterrunner.com and I'll add any popular sports, leagues, features... whatever most people want.
Currently, rosters are available for MLB, MLS, NBA, WNBA, NCAA BB (men), NCAA FB, NFL, and a custom roster generator for your other stuff.
The expansions are simple. Duplicates are marked. Download a file to have a look.
For example, if you download the MLS 'Seattle Sounders FC' snippet with the default settings, then typing:

Would expand to:
----------
Seattle Sounders FC midfielder Brad Evans (3)
----------
If you try a number that has duplicate players, like #2:

s2
----------
Then you would get the expansion:

##Seattle Sounders FC midfielder Michael Fucito (2)####Seattle Sounders FC defender Danny Earls (2)##

Please examine the download for other shortcuts, including:

Which expands the supporting keywords:

Again, nothing ground breaking here. Just a simple and clean way to get your code replacements if you don't already have a system in place. It's free and fast.
