I've got some info on techniques about the process, but I thought if anyone else had some info or suggestions that helped them they might post it. It's really easy to use. George Lepp has written about this pretty extensively in Outdoor Photographer. I originally purchased the software to let me do image stacks of star trails on my mac (most other image stacking programs are PC based). It does this very well.
