Unauthorized use - NCAA baseball Images

->> Just wanted to give a heads-up to those of you who photograph baseball for NCAA schools. I came across the following website, http://www.collegebaseballdaily.com and noticed that one of my Wake Forest images was being used in an article previewing the ACC for 2011. I e-mailed the person in charge of the website (Brian Foley - editor@collegebaseballdaily.com) and asked if he had received the image directly from Wake Forest or if he had just copied it from the Wake athletics website. He replied that he indeed did just copy it from the website, and to his credit he did remove it promptly at my request. If you cover NCAA baseball you may want to check out the website to see if any of your work has been "borrowed" without permission. I know this is an endless battle, and it's next to impossible to stop all unauthorized uses, but that doesn't mean we have to ignore it when we do come across it.

->> Brian,
You might want to poke around his site some more and check his links as well. Earlier this year what started with one image turned into multiple images on multiple sites by one person (who claimed he didn't know it was wrong to copy and post images). It is a battle worth waging, each time we fight a few more people get educated along the way.
