CF card backup on the road, no laptop

->> I am getting ready to travel to Costa Rica with a Canon XF300 video camera. This is an HD camera that records to CF cards, no tape. I will not be taking a laptop.
Can anyone recommend a CF card backup device that will allow me to copy my data so I will have it in two places for backup. Several years ago I had a device that would do this but it only held 80 gigs. I anticipate having 300 gigs. Thanks for any advice

->> +1 on the Hyperdrive with one minor caveat. Buy their case and install your own drive. I had two of their units fail on me. In reality it wasn't 'their' units but the lousy Hitachi drives that were in them. Buy the case and stuff it with either a Seagate or Western Digital drive and you should be good to go.

->> I have the Hyperdrive Colorspace as well, works great, I have used maybe twice in two years and battery never seems to go dead. Works flawless.

->> I have, and actively use a Canon P-3000 (as well as a P2000 that never gets used and I would sell), and another unit called a Nexto CF. The current version is faster and called a Nexto Extreme. http://nextodiusa.com/ They also have models marketed specifically to the video market as well. I have had fantastic results with the Nexto unit. Fast, reliable and super simple. No LCD to view files like the Epson units but that's okay. I actually carried both for some work in Asia so I would have redundant backups.
