->> wondering if anyone has a source for getting hard plastic back and front luggage tags printed. I know someone who has one thats maybe 5/16" thick, looks like it's dye sub printed.

Problem is where he got it from is a pro lab printer you need a business account, etc, I don't really want to go thru having to get all this stuff they want just for a few luggage tags.

Anyone have any sources they've dealt with before? Maybe there is a pdf template to download for sizing

->> You want a hard plastic custom tag you can put your business card in or a hard plastic tag with your custom info front & back, with no sleeve for a business card?

The best place to make a 'hard card' luggage tag is a place that makes IDs. An ID badge and luggage tag are the same size, and they already have the slot cut for you to attach the tag. ID badge blanks run about $2 a pop and printing should be $3-$5 per tag wholesale.

->> I'm not sure if they're still available, but Avery used to sell a kit that allowed you to make ID's/luggage tags. You printed the design on the clear labels and then applied it to the plastic badge. It was a bit of a beating, but did the job.

I've always laminated my business cards using the pouches with the hole at the top and used those as luggage tags. Kinkos can do it for a couple of bucks and they last for years.

->> I've used Crew Tags to get luggage tags printed for myself on several occasions.
They print hard plastic tags. I've had some of mine for going on six years and there's no fading.

They'll do custom tags with an image on one side and text on the other if thats what you're looking for, along with a multitude of other options.
