Cannot get PDANet to work on my Mac/Android

You need to do a couple things. first on your phone you need to go to settings> applications>development and check usb debugging.
Then, once you've connected the phone to the mac go to your system preferences>network> click on the samsung phone and click advanced and under vendor select samsung.

You also need to to have pda net downloaded to your mac, but I just assume you've done that.

Once you've done this there should be a little phone icon on top of your mac screen. Click on that and click connect.

p.s. you can also use the wireless modem feature of the phone it works at close to the same speed as pdanet
