->> My first published piece using the cool GoPro HD camera:
http://www.usatoday.com/video/index.htm?bctid=720384787001#/Freeline+Skates/720384787001

Thanks to my buddy Myung with the help with Cinema Tools!

->> Thanks. The piece is pretty simple. Not a cool thing like my buddy Myung does for the LA Times.

But it shows how much fun you can have with a simple little camera like the GoPro. It's a cheap way to get a second camera shot.

Thanks for sharing. I saw someone in NYC on those skates last week and didn't know what it was (actually, he was using only one)

It is amazing the things the elite skaters can do on these things --- heck it is amazing to see what kids can do on them after just 15 minutes!

I can't wait to see what journalists like Bert and Myung do with this type of technology.

->> I love my GoPro's as well. I have two of them and use for video features and stories in Detroit. Just got another one from Santa Claus for Christmas :-)

They can be a great mix in video storytelling with Canon 5D video or "traditional" video cameras.

I'm suppose to get their 3D kit to test out next week and hope it's a good as they say. Not sure how it would work for certain video stories on the web but worth trying it out for sure.
Here is a link of the 3D system;
http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2010/12/13/new-d-camera-shoots-action-avatar.../

They are also coming out with a LCD screen later in January that fits on the back of the GoPro.
