->> Does anyone have any information on Hyper Syncing the Canon Mark IV with arena strobes using the PW Mini TT1? I shoot with White Lightnings and was able to sync my 1Ds Mark III at 640th of a second. I can only sync my Mark IV at 320th of a second. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.

->> You can try hooking up up your mini to your PC and adjusting the sync lag in the wizard utility.

->> Call pocket wizard, I had them explain it to me. Basically the strobes have to be at full power, thus providing the longest flash duration. The PW then cheats by adjusting it's triggering to allow you to grab a bit of that light at a higher than allowed by camera shutter speed.

->> Rob Galbrith has the numbers for Hyper Syncing all the cameras using the PW utility but it was done before the Mark IV came out. I've tried a variety of settings from -600 to -1200 using the PW Utility. I think a call to PW is in order or to Galbrith. Thanks for your input.

->> After a little more research and about an hour of testing, I was able to get the Mark IV to Hyper Sync using the Pocket Wizard Mini TT1 with a 1600 White Lightnings at -200 using the PW Utility. I was able to shoot up to 1/3200th of a second with the WL 1600 at full power. Pretty cool stuff.
