Clamp question for hockey net cam

->> hmm, i was thinking of mounting it off center to give more space in the net, but maybe mounting it straight on like in the video is the way to go, then i can attach the clamp to the back of the box instead of the bottom. thanks again!

I use the exact clamp that Thomas linked to. It works perfectly. Depending on the box being used it might be of center. My box is very slightly of center when mounted.

I mount the entire setup before the first game to get things alighned then remove the box and the camera mount from the dual ball swivel. The dual ball swivel and super clamp stays in the net all day and after warmups I just skate out and mount the box and a couple test shots so I hear the shutter then back to the bench, about 20 seconds, after the game go out remove the box and change cards to get to the viewing stations. repeat for 10 games.

I almost bought the box in the video Thomas referenced but I don't see how this protects a camera at all.
