MultiMAX (Pocketwizard) - Assistance

->> Somehow 1 of my MultiMAX units is set for a 0.0001 sec. delay in both Transmit and Receive mode.

It took me awhile to figure out what was going on, it fired the strobes but the exposures were way off (I was using it on my camera to fire the strobes).

I have no idea how this got set, most importantly - I have no idea how to reset it for no delay.

I read through the manual but no luck (that I could find).

Thanks for any help.

Ken

->> A good standard practice is to hold down the "c" button while you're turning it on to reset it to the stock settings.

->> Older MultiMax firmware likes to flake out and set itself to bizarre settings for no reason. It seems like the older the firmware, the more likely it is to happen.

I have one with ancient firmware and about every fifth time I turn it on, it sets the contact time to 600+ seconds. Until I got used to it, it was particularly troublesome because you fire a test shot and it works fine but won't work again for 10 minutes (=600 seconds). ;-)

The "C" reset Justin described is the quickest way to get everything back to the default settings.

->> Very timely. This just happened to me yesterday. On the newer Multis, there is a RESET button in the menu, but on the older Multis, I couldn't figure out how to reset back to factory defaults. Thanks Ken and Al.
