->> Jim,
You know it wasn't me. You know I would say it to your face. Actually, now I'm close enough to drive and say it to your face. Maybe I will do that soon. No real reason, just on general principle. |

->> I am a firm believer in having the cohones to confront someone one on one. At least, if by email, to do it with honor, and give my real name. I remember when there was the thread about the photo contest to get a sideline pass. Oh man, the anonymous venomous emails I got from that thread.
If you are going to sit there and act like a child and curse like a fool at me, have enough guts to "say it" to my face and be ready for my honest response. Besides, I know enough to know I probably deserved it. I can be an idiot sometimes...OK...most times. But, I am a big boy, I can handle the criticism. |

Some Gutless Weenie that didn't have the Cojones to stand up like a REAL Man and tell me to my face!!
FWIW, I know who it was, this town is too small to hide behind an ISP, but I still think he's a Gutless Weenie!!
If you disagree with me, say so openly, heck, you can also call me on the phone, I'll talk to you. But at least have the Cojones to sign your name if you decide to do it via E-Mail. |

Not really, although I do think that the 1932 Auburn Speedster was a mighty fine looking car... |

No name - who cares? |

| ->> Eric, I personally enjoy emails from people not on the site. I would certainly be against limiting email responses to just the SS members. I've even been contacted by old acquaintances who see my name on the search engines from SS. I've received my fair share of anonymous emails also, think I even started a thread once several years ago but just figure it comes with the (internet) territory. not worth my time to throw out a message trying to goad someone into responding back. if someone doesn't have the gumption to sign their name I just figure they're much like the trolls who respond to various stories on news sites, not worth my time. it's now just a fact of life...."move on...nothing to see here" kind of thing. |

Trolling, defined as the act of posting inflammatory, derogatory or provocative messages in public forums, is a problem as old as the Internet itself, although its roots go much farther back. Even in the fourth century B.C., Plato touched upon the subject of anonymity and morality in his parable of the ring of Gyges.
That mythical ring gave its owner the power of invisibility, and Plato observed that even a habitually just man who possessed such a ring would become a thief, knowing that he couldn’t be caught. Morality, Plato argues, comes from full disclosure; without accountability for our actions we would all behave unjustly. |

BTW, my brother lives in MP, but he said he doesn't even know Jim. |
