I thought this was a clever marketing ploy that would appeal to those (like me) who don't like AT&T ... until I checked on the cost. The Verizon rep told me a 5GB/month service costs $59.95 and that the prices for running over are very steep. And 10Gb is far worse -- almost $200 a month! I'm not familiar with the costs of using Mifi and like devices. Is this typical?
