Journalism in Cleveland - a follow up

->> A while back, I posted a thread suggesting an article posted in the News section of the Plain Dealer's website was an example of bad journalism. The author was a columnist and the article accused a Cleveland police officer of racist behavior in the arrest of a young man in a racially charged entertainment area. Without attempting to re-open the debate I thought that it was also worth while to note that the author has finally stepped up and apologized for her part. So, kudos to her for calling the officer personally and for making a public apology (since she made public accusations). While this may be somewhat off topic I thought I'd post the positive action by the columnist and newspaper in question since I posted the negative.

->> Thanks for posting this John. I have long admired Regina and much of what she writes (despite much being simply opinion). This is a real testament to her character and, in my opinion, adds tremendous credibility to her work. We all make mistakes, its the bigger person who can admit to them (publicly, no less, in this case).
