Nikon d300 telling me my memory card is full.

->> When I put in a empty memory card into my d300 the camera is telling me that the memory card is full. I have formatted my cards on the computer and in camera and still tells me that it is full. The cards work in all of my other cameras perfectly.
When I take photos from other cameras i am able to view them in my D300 but not take any other photos, not sure if this has happened to anybody. any help would be a great help.

| ->> Could it be something related to the filename needing to rollover from 9999 to 0001 and being set to require a manual reset instead of an automatic flip? I know the Canon's have a similar option but am not sure if it would apply to Nikon as well. |
