| ->> I have an older Nikon 400 2.8 that has a stuck teleconverter that will not come off the lens does anyone know of a repair shop in San Francisco where I can take the lens in to have the converter removed? |

->> Ray, hmmm, because headquarters are so close to you, I wonder if the friendly and competent folks at borrowlenses.com could help? They aren't a service outfit obviously, but enough inbound and outbound passes through their doors that they may have some thoughts. I can imagine you've tried things at home yourself, different ambient temperatures and whatnot... If nothing else it's a good introduction to a great business from which to rent a 400 and a TC that *will* disengage (or just about anything else).
