VIDEO CAMERA Panasonic HPX 170 or another suggestion?

->> Looking for a decent high quality HD camera for sports , weddings, family etc.
I have tested the Panasonic HPX 170 like it a lot just wondering if there is another option at the price |

->> Remember that the inherent quality of the files produced by the HPX-170 are superior to just about all of the others in that it's intra-frame compression rather than inter-frame compression. No Long GOP (group-of-pictures). Each frame on the HDX is individually compressed (like standard definition), unlike HDV, EX, etc. That's why an HDX 1Gb of storage space per minute while HDV uses 14Mb per minute. The HDX also has better color space.
I'd go with the HDX. |
