->> Ok need to make a purchase very soon for a future client. What do you event photographers prefer

5 minute photo or Photo Parata - Miltonstreet Software and why?

Or am I missing out on some new product that blows both of these out of the water? Will be having 2-4 viewing stations set up.

->> Have you had any hiccups with 5 minute photo? I hear the back end checkout is great but the uploading is shaky.

->> my only problem was that I didn't have the proper memory in the viewing computers the first time and viewing was way too slow. This was because I was led to believe that the viewing systems only needed a minimum RAM. I fixed that issue and everything was fine.

->> I use Photo Parata and could not be happier with it, plus Sam is a good dude and has always responded extremely fast to any questions I have had.

My viewing stations (some of which are old junky laptops with very little RAM) display/respond as fast as you can click the mouse.

->> been using 5 min photo running 10-15 viewing stations with no issues on the upload at all but I spent the extra $$ and purchased a very nice 24 port gigabit router and cat 6 cables. Viewing stations are P4's with 1gb ram each. If you are having problems, watch the size of the images being displayed on the viewing stations. Pushing about 200 images of each performance out to the V.S. takes about 2-3 minutes. My only problem has been that checkout process causes confusion for my customers when they are submitting their carts for printing.
