->> It's official. After working on it for the past 18 months or so, I have just signed a publishing contract for my ongoing Musical Ink book project ( www.musical-ink.com ).
This collection of black & white infrared portraits of musicians and their tattoos accompanied by their personal stories behind those tattoos was inspired in part by Tom Dahlin's Minnesota Timberwolves work that was featured here on SportsShooter in 2006.
I'm pretty stoked & looking forward to seeing this project hit the shelves in late 2012. |

->> Thanks for the kind words guys. This project is a lot of fun & I'm really happy with the way the images are turning out.
@Israel, that sound is nothing more than about 12 seconds of the intermittent buzz of a tattoo machine doing what a tattoo machine does. The navigation links are right across the top of that landing page. Click on one & you're (a) into the site and (b) not listening to someone getting tattooed any longer. |

| ->> The choice of font makes the pages really tough to read. Particularly the John 5 page. You may want to go with a font that is easier on the eyes so it doesn't detract from the photos. |

->> Jeremy,
For the images on the web site I don't entirely disagree with you, however what I have there is simply a representative sample of layouts that are much smaller than they will appear in print. At size, the text reads much more easily.
Thanks for looking & taking the time to comment. |
