->> Curious if anyone has bought one of these for their strobe? Pretty interesting, similar to a Honl but looks like it might have a bit more versatility.

Granted being able to roll it up and use it as a snoot is a unique feature, but then again, how often do you need to do that ? I personally cut a section from a box of spaghetti and slide that over the flash head when I need a snoot (which has been maybe twice ever lol, ymmv)

Overall I just found it a bit finicky to adjust really and think there are better products out there with a fixed hinge that make it a lot quicker to adjust on the fly, such as the Flip-It products.

You want a product that you can get repeatable results with, such as vertical or tilting it back for less fill. With the bendable rods its just not that easy to do with camera in hand that quickly or accurately.

I sort of view 95% of the hotshoe flash products out there as solutions for problems that don't really exist.

Between a diffuser cap and a pop up white card, which usually come with the flash I think most people should be set.

Guys like Gary Fong took it right to the bank though making millions of selling people $40 tuperware bowls to throw of a flash though, so naturally everyone else out there is going to try to come up with a better mousetrap and try to get their cut of the pie
