->> Has anyone of you, some experience of the free downloadble video format converters... if you google out you can easily find many of them ...but which one is "the best" or "it does the job well" etc..
I am just trying to find out a cheap resolution to get couple of dslr-videos converted during this weekend on an assignment ...normally i sent out mpeg4 or avi but this time it has to be flash. I do the editing with final cut express. |

->> Matti,
I use the Flash plug in via FCP to convert most of our videos. However in the past I have used SWF to convert to Flash. I believe you can also use MPeg stream clip to convert the mpeg4 to a .MOV file and then convert that. |

| ->> While it was a different conversion issue, and it's not free, I have had a good experience with the tools sold at www.dvdfab.com. The "video converter" (aka "file to mobile") module should work. I believe they offer a free 30-day evaluation period. Joe |

| ->> If you have the Adobe Creative Suite, check out the Adobe Media Encoder that is included with the suite. This little application will work for what you're trying to do. |
