If you have the EVO 4G, get the Seidio 3500 Mah Battery

->> This battery is an absolute beast. Here is a post I had in another forum about the battery.

"Okay still going after 1 Day 3h 35 minutes.

I have 27% left on the battery. I have basically 27:30 hours uptime with almost 6 hours awake time.

I ran 4G for around 2 hours during this time, wifi on 16 of the 27 hours. I have 1 and a half hours of call time.

This battery is a beast (yea I already said it before lol)

Simply amazing. I think I am going to wait till tomorrow morning to charge it as I have my stock battery fully charged from the external. Want to give that a shot and see how well it does when it is fully charged.

If you are in doubt about this battery, don't be. Well worth the money!"

->> Thanks for that info Matthew. I have the EVO 4G and I have to keep it plugged in whether in home, office or in the car. The battery status bar just seems to drop as fast as I talk. A great phone but the battery sucks. Just to be safe I bought the extended usb battery booster that is supposed to give 2 additional hrs of talk time. I'm sure 2hrs would be a reach with that phone.

Would the Seidio battery void the warranty?

->> Gray,

I am not sure on the warranty to be honest. (if it is an issue I would just replace the seidio with the stock when I went into a sprint store)

Also Gray you might get better battery usage if you purchase an external battery charger. I have found it was the first time the batteries I had would finally charge to a full 100%.

When you charge in phone, at most you will get 90 to 95%. If you noticed when you charge it immediately drops like 5% within 15 minutes, it is because the phone does not charge properly. It is a known issue and hopefully HTC will fix it.

Anyways external charger is without a doubt the way to go to get the most out of those batteries.

RIght now I am at 12 hours uptime with 2 1/2 hours awake time with 80% of my battery left.

I have wifi on, location, full sync (weather, mail).

Like I said when charging internally the battery never gets fully charged in the EVO. At best you are getting between 90 and 95%.
