Clearwire's new Rover service

Need a backup plan incase the venue's wifi is slow!

Will be using it mainly in Seattle

Rover is a prepaid service that I "think" is somehow connected to Comcast and Sprint networks.

->> Clearwire is funded by Sprint. Not 100% owned by them, but they are the ones responsible for building Sprint's 4G network. Sprint is trying to decide whether to get a partner to help them finance the network. If I had to guess, I'd say TMobile. This is a very expensive project - 100's of millions of dollars.

If Sprint/TMobile partnership happens, I'd guess Sprint buys TMobile just to get Sprint to the subscriber base size of Verizon and ATT.
