|| SportsShooter.com: Member Message Board Ironman World Champs in Kona Hugh E Gentry, Photographer Mililani | HI | USA | Posted: 7:24 PM on 08.30.10 ->> For those heading to Kona to cover the Ironman World Championship beware of the new restrictions regarding photography. We now have limited course access due to Ironman using Endura Pix for photo distribution. Basically if we can walk to it we can shoot it. 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and a 26.4 mile marathon, plus finish line access is restricted as well to certain media and to a certain area. Good luck on coverage! I am looking for feedback to see what we can do. I just hope they have a better arrangement at the hot corner, as it was a mess last year. Having to compete for a spot with spectators makes it difficult to do your job!
