However how will the Canon lenses hold up ?

->> Yep ... better have a pouch full of very high capacity cf cards for that sensor ... 120MP at 9.5 frames per sec .... that's a lot of data ..... yielding a 44"x30" image at 300ppi ... I guess that would be enough for newsprint and the web .... :-)

It's amazing how technology advances ...

->> I'd wait till they put it in a camera before buying any new cards. Unless they have found a way to suppress the noise that high density/super small photosites create this will have a VERY limited application.

Maybe they can couple 4 or 5 sites into one large pixel when the sensor is being used for stills to overcome noise at higher iso's?

Until it's in a camera it's just a neat chip.
