NFL Code Replacements DIY in Excel

->> All,
I have written up a short tutorial on a way to make your own NFL code replacements using Excel. I have created an Excel template that is provided with the tutorial. It includes all of the Ravens home game opponents this year (I shoot mostly Ravens).

If you know a bit about Excel or can follow instructions, you can spend 5 minutes learning how to use the spreadsheet and create new rosters from NFL.com in a matter of seconds.

Hopefully this will help some of you.

->> Thank you. Can you use code replace to generate keywords? That would be helpful since we're keywording in Lightroom. I'd like to make it something we do in PM before dropping the images into LR.

->> @Scott, Thanks. Let me know if you have any suggestions on how to improve it.

@Darren, I'm not sure what you mean about making it generate keywords. You can certainly modify the formula to make it just output names or numbers for codes and use those codes as code replacements in PM.

->> Darren, you can use code repl to populate any field on the stationary pad. Keywording is much more efficient in PM than LR. (not sure about lr3). But you could build a code replacement scheme for the whole league in not very long that included all whole host of key words for each team....and have the whole lot be entered via a couple key strokes /FMK/ for example could be your code for Florida Marlins Keywords, which then could load whatever you wanted to include about the Marlins...
