A confrontation with the chief ensued, which Tyska also taped. Tyska was then detained, accused of inciting a riot, and her tape confiscated. The tape was later returned to Tyska's employer, the Oakland Tribune. Two months later the chief resigned. I've been a few times over the years, and they're very constructive. I have only attended a couple of the meetings and there had been no issues around those times, so it was more like a meeting for us to get to know each other.
