->> Several years ago I ordered four White Lightning X1600's, and after having them for a few weeks one of the modeling lamp bulbs on one of the lights fell apart at a wedding on a Saturday. I called customer service on Monday morning and they told me that they would send a replacement bulb, and on Tuesday morning a package arrived on my door with a replacement modeling lamp bulb plus two spares for a total of six bulbs.
They explained that they had a batch of bulbs that was experiencing this sort of thing, so they replaced all of them and threw in a couple of spares.
They DO rock!! |

->> Go Einsteins!!
When I was a Staffer at the Cabela's Studios in NE, we had Traveler pack/head kits, made by Bowens for Calumet, if you sneezed loudly by the heads, the Modeling Lamps would blow!! We kept having packs Blow up waaaaay to often!!
I have a boat load of Speedo Packs and Heads, if I wasn't that invested in all this gear, I would go PCB for the studio too!!

->> I called them today for a piece for a set of the OLD ORIGINAL White Lightnings. They went into their system, asked if my address was still the same, and said it will be sent right out. How awesome is that?
I put them in the same category as Newton. Last year a piece from my Newton bracket fell off and I lost it-I called, and they shipped it right off and it arrived the next day. Customer service for both companies are top! |

->> Last year I bought ring flash from Paul Buff. But since I now live in Nashville, instead of calling and ordering over the phone like I have for years, I decided to stop by and purchase it at their place of business.
It was quickly apparent they really are mostly set up for on-line sales. As a ‘walk-in’, I seemed to upset their flow. It was a bit amusing actually.
But as always, they were very friendly and helpful and totally professional. |
