->> Hopefully we can get an actual case to work through the system and get precedent set that it does not violate wiretapping. I think cops sometimes get a raw deal as most are hard working and not thugs. But, I absolutely believe they need to be held accountable and citizens being allowed to videotape them in public in their interaction with the public is helpful in doing that. Right now, it's too easy for a "bad" cop to intimidate a person into not videotaping. Not many people want to go through the troubles associated with getting arrested/charged to make a stand.

I totally agree. I also agree it is too easy for any police officer to say you obstructed an investigation and arrest you.

To be honest it is way to easy for a cop to arrest you with no evidence on hand to do so. All they have to do is lie, then release you 24 hours later and not file any charges.

But it still will shake you up which is what I call intimidation.
