->> I was looking through lenses at Samy's, and came across this a disclaimer for the 800 5.6 -> http://www.samys.com/index/page/product/product_id/5166/category_id/27/prod...+800mm+f5.6L+IS+USM+Lens
Even if it's for sale there and elsewhere, (the disclaimer says it can't be sold yet per FCC, which obviously has been resolved), what in the world does the FDA have to do with this?! I'm cornfused... |

->> the FDA has to be concerned any time there is Jello involved.

Thank you, thank you!! I'll be here all week.
Sorry, that was really bad, I'll show myself out.
Maybe its better if you imagine Bill Cosby saying it. :) |

->> Sam, That applies to radiological devices (nuclear radiation.)
I can't imagine what possible jurisdiction either the FCC or the FDA might have. My first guess is a typo for FTC.

->> I stand corrected. Upon further reading, 21.C.F.R.ยง 1002.10 covers electronic radiation too. Both the FDA and the FCC would have jurisdiction over that.
