->> Michael,
The Airport Antidote or Airport Antidote v2.0?
Which airline? There are minor variations in the seats which make a difference.
The Airport Antidote v2.0 is 17” H x 11.75“ W x 7” which means it could fit under United Airlines CR7 seats in First, but not Economy or Economy Plus; nor should it fit under the seats of Air Canada's CR-705 (CRA). The bag should fit under the seats of a Delta CR7 and of a US Airways CR7.
It'll be super tight but on DL and US you can squeeze it under there. I'd suggest pulling the laptop out of the pocket due to the depth issues under these seats.
I have measured under the seats of quite a few Bombardier Canadair CRJ series regional jets ... as well Bombardier has been a client of mine, so I've been able to spend time rolling around under the seats of some planes to see what fits and what doesn't. |

->> Thanks man, V2.0, Delta (ASA)
I was thinking it would fit in the overhead with the laptop bag pulled out and placed under the seat. But I was more concerned with getting told I would have to gate check it, regardless of whether it would fit or not.

->> Michael,
If I recall correctly, the overhead bins on Delta Connection's current CR7 configuration would not handle the Antidote v2.0. I could be wrong, but I don't think the bins are deep enough.
The seats on the Delta CR7s are 17.5" wide, so with a double seat, with no middle seat support (which had been the standard seating design on all of Delta's CRJs) the width and depth are there to stuff the Antidote v2.0 under the seat in front of you.
I got some weird looks from my client two weeks ago stuffing various bags under the seats of Bombardier's Q400 aircraft. The demo aircraft had three different seating configurations installed in it ... and I had it all to myself for about 45 minutes ... no one else on board at all. Perfect time to study the size specs of each seat ... and those seats do translate to the Bombardier CRJ series aircraft as well. |
