Final view station design question??

->> I am in the final stages of a small network of ordering stations for events I have this fall/winter... the only item left is what type of PC to use: laptops or small formfactor desktops. I am looking at a low end laptops from many manufactures including dell, HP, Toshiba as well as the Dell's ultra small form factor desktop PC Inspirion Zino HD.
I love the ease/flexibilty of laptops but worry about the durability and risk of damage... this makes the ultra small form factor very appealing but are the logistics worth it?
I am looking at a total of 4 so not a huge setup like some but still a good amount for the size and type events booked.
Any help and additional advice much appreciated!!
