| ->> I agree with mike on this. maybe folks should actually make sure the phone works as a phone first. everyone I know who owns one of those phones has a serious love/hate relationship. they love the interface and camera but hate the phone service....it's funny to remind them that it is after all is said and done supposed to be a phone.....hey isn't the apple press conference about the train wreck they just released in a couple of hours? |

| ->> well Mike along the lines of this thread, it wouldn't be an app so much. Considering the cubersomeness of that slr lens attachment, to get better reception would mean you would be outfitted with a 15ft tall tower you wear on your shoulders. If that sounds good, then don't worry about the chiropractor visits to ease the back pain, they're included with the cost of the tower. |

->> The concept just makes me laugh. I think it would be hillarious to see a 400mm 2.8L clamped on to an iPhone.
Mike --- The app is Skype. |

| ->> On a reverse note, I wouldn't be suprised to see future DSLRs to have 3G function to transmit photos out directly from the camera. Sort of like the wireless transmitters are now but utilizing the cell network instead. |
