->> I keep seeing a ton of these "OEM" Canon LP-E6 batteries (the ones for the 5D MKII) on eBay for about $26.00 with shipping included. They *appear* to come in an official Canon OEM box and based on the photo they look legit, but they're so much less expensive than other OEM batteries that something has to be up with them.
I generally don't mess with aftermarket batteries as I'm always afraid that they will somehow damage my cameras' circuitry and whether or not that's the case, the money I'd save on cheapo batteries is generally not worth the risk. So, I don't buy the ones that are clearly aftermarket but these have all the appearance of being real... anybody have any experience with them or know why they'd be that much less expensive if they are, in fact, OEM.
For the record, I tend to buy this type of stuff from one of our sponsors here and I'm sure that's what I'll end up doing just to be safe, but I was just curious. |
