->> Thank you Coast Guard for doing the right thing, here. Big thank you to groups who worked to get this very flawed policy lifted... like NPPA's advocacy committee that sent letters to Obama and other politicians, and did lots of other outreach in this situation.

->> So if I meet all the safety guidelines but I have no media pass I am not allowed near the booms to photograph them for whatever reason that is taking away my freedom.
Anyone from the public should be allowed to photograph the booms media or not if they meet all the safety guidelines.
