->> It is rumored that the Toronto Maple Leafs were interested in LeBron but the deal fell apart when Tie Domi refused to come out of retirement.
Leafs fans will be disappointed, but there are a LOT of small forwards breathing a sigh of relief that Domi won't be lacing up the skates again. |

->> Wow...Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert didn't pull any punches with his open reaction letter. In part...
"In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight: "I personally guarantee that the Cleveland Cavaliers will win an NBA Championship before the self-titled former 'king' wins one."
You can take it to the bank.
If you thought we were motivated before tonight to bring the hardware to Cleveland, I can tell you that this shameful display of selfishness and betrayal by one of our very own has shifted our "motivation" to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels.
...
But the good news is that this heartless and callous action can only serve as the antidote to the so-called "curse" on Cleveland, Ohio.
The self-declared former "King" will be taking the "curse" with him down south. And until he does "right" by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma. "

->> Becoming a free agent and accepting an offer from another team is certainly not an act of betrayal. If this is how Dan Gilbert is going to treat players who become free agents, then I would be hesitant to play for an organization like that.
On the other hand, I am 5 foot 10 inches tall and have the vertical jump of a potted plant so I am not in any immediate danger of having to decide whether or not to play for a team owned by Dan Gilbert |

->> My problem with Dan GIlbert,
1- why did he fire Mike Brown, if he felt Lebron was the cause to them losing.
2- when he says he personally guarantees that cleveland will win . . . , makes think he didn't do enough to win while he had Lebron.
3- Lebron is a free agent, he earned the right to go where he wants.
4- This letter just confirms that Lebron made the right choice, because we now know how Dan Gilbert really felt about Lebron. |

->> drama in Cleveland, is this going to be the next ESPN soap opera that they make into a series?
Now Gilbert (owner of Fatheads pic company) has decided to reduce the price of Lebron's wall cling from $99.99 to $17.41. Significance of the new price? The year Benedict Arnold was born. This just keeps getting better.
