Best Photojournalism Movies

->> It's Friday night. My wife is out at a work event.
I'm sitting at home browsing through the Netflix Watch Instantly list of movies for something interesting. Then, I hit upon an idea. A quick search didn't produce any sort of definitive list, so I'll throw this out there: What are the best photojournalism movies? Movies about photographers, either bio-pics or documentaries, or movies that involve photojournalism? What are the must-see films? |

"War Photographer" is a good one about James Nachtway though it's not on Netflix instant. |

->> Ah, David, thank you. I should amend my previous post to say, "A quick search, and an uncareful glance through the long list of results, didn't produce any sort of definitive list."
Much obliged. |

->> Avoid "War Photographer" at all costs.
It'll make you squirm if you have an ounce of soul or good taste. |

->> "At Close Range" - a PBS documentary about Nat Geo photog Joel Sartore. I'm happy to see that you can now watch it instantly on Netflix.
I watched it on PBS a few years ago when it premiered, and some of the things Joel said have really inspired and stayed with me.
Absolutely 100% worth checking out. |
