->> Did a quick search through the previous threads and didnt see anything on this.
I recently took a fabulous trip and want to take some of the photos and make them into a nice coffee table book as a fathers day gift for dad.
Anyone have any experiences good bad or indifferent that you would like to share? Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help :) |

| ->> If you have a mac you can use iPhoto or Aperture to make a great photo book. I've seen what people have made and they always look great. |

->> I haven't found anyone that can beat Adorama for quality and price...when they're on.
But, half my orders with them required reprinted products because of gross QC problems. I would never use them if I planned to forward prints directly to a third party. |

->> I've been happy with Blurb. I put together a 160 page book commemorating my wedding trip in New Zealand last year, and my wife uses them for numerous projects. As mentioned, their pricing is great.
There's been a problem or two either receiving someone else's book or having pages of someone else's book printed in mine, but their customer service rectified the issues quickly. |

->> Yeah, but can Adorama do pop out legs, so the coffee table book can double as it's own coffee table?
... sorry, couldn't resist. |

->> I created 50+ senior shoot books last year with the softcover book with linen cover/pages thru Milles Lab. They turned out fantastic. Very quick turnaround and overnight shipping is included in the cost. If I upload the book today (Monday), I would probably have it by Wednesday.
I tried the same type of product with a few other labs. But the other labs I tried had a front cover page that I couldn't customize. And some didn't allow me to create my own back cover (or cover page).
The Millers Lab soft cover book allowed me to completely customize the cover and every page, including the front and back cover pages.
I always created books in an 8x8 format, but they have many to choose from.
